It is not unusual for a person to want to know what they are eating. It is very unusual to forbid a person from knowing what they are eating. For government to pass a law that forbids people from knowing what they are eating is, beyond question, an evil act. The people who create such a law are certainly evil people. There really can be no debate that only evil, sinister, diabolical motivation could cause a law to forbid people from knowing what is in their food to pass in the U.S. congress. Even humongous amounts of cash as monetary bribes would not be sufficient to cause a caring legislator to vote in favor of such laws. Only evil, imbedded deep down inside of a person, would allow that person to actually forbid another human being from knowing what is in the food that they are eating. It is difficult to think of a comparable act of emotional violence from one human being against another human being.
States rights have been pushed aside for corporate rights... and human rights are not even to be considered. Even federal rights have been eliminated.
These people are not very good negotiators as the entire House of Representatives only cost Monsanto
a mere $262,500.00. This is 'chump change' split between the only two viable parties. The total paid by Monsanto to all of the democrats was only $72,000 and the total paid by Monsanto to republicans was only $190,500. (see the list of politicians paid by Monsanto)
Who would imagine that someone would sell their soul for so little? There must be more. Money must be funneled from Monsanto through ALEC and others.
